Active Shooter
After more than 20 years of headlines, one look at the news shows Active Shooter incidents are continuing all across the country at a far too often pace. They occur everywhere from a big city to a tiny village, meaning no jurisdiction is immune. Is your agency ready??
This course trains the first responder in appropriate tactics to stop an active shooter event, while making it as safe as possible for the first responder. GSR Group instructs both Team response as well as single responder tactics, as time waiting for back-up is a luxury you won't have during one of these events.
Advanced Active Shooter
Tactics are always changing. This course begins where the standard Active Shooter course left off. This is a faster, more intense training course than the basics, and will provide alternative tactics when responding to an Active Shooter. More tools for your "Tactical Toolbox" to assist you in bringing these events to a quick conclusion.
CQB/Building Clearing
This building entry course is designed for Investigative personnel tasked with executing search warrants without a tactical team. GSR Group covers everything from mission planning through entry tactics, including contingencies.
SWAT 1
Also known as Basic SWAT, this course covers equipment deployment, advanced weapon use, building entry tactics, and mission planning. The course finishes with multiple fast-paced scenarios with role-players; and then scenarios in a live-fire shoothouse (location dependent). This course provides the training enabling you to be assigned to a SWAT Team.
SWAT 2
Also known as Advanced SWAT, this course begins where the SWAT 1 course left off. Advanced weapons and tactics are covered in-depth. The course finishes with several fast-paced scenarios with role-players; and then scenarios in a live-fire shoothouse (location dependent). This course takes you well beyond the basics.
SWAT 3
Also known as Hostage Rescue, this course begins where the SWAT 2 course left off. Instead of search warrants/raids and barricaded gunmen, this course puts emphasis on situations where human life hangs in the balance. In situations where hostages have been taken, those hostages' lives are the priority. Advanced, high-speed shooting and tactics are covered. The course finishes with several fast-paced scenarios with role-players; and then scenarios in a live-fire shoothouse (location dependent). When lives are at stake, leave nothing to chance.
